Historical Sketch of
Triumph The Church and Kingdom of God In Christ
Rev. Elias Dempsey Smith was the founder of this organizaton in 1897. As God continued to reveal more and more truths to him about the everlasting Gospel message and life for the soul and body, he had a vision. Triumph Church was organized January 20, 1902. The doors was opened to the world January 20, 1904.
Today, Triumph Church is an international organization with churches located in 36 states, a Mission school in Africa, a national historical landmark church building in Cleveland, Ohio, historical museums and, we have libraries in several of our local churches, and two major housing complexes in Flint, Michigan.
A founders day celebration is held every year January 20th, with all day services and a feast throughout the Triumphant Kingdom.
God has equipped us to operate under the five-fold ministry, and by his power we have been blessed to help the lost come to Christ. We have many testimonies of how God has saved, healed, delivered, and set many people free that were bound.
